| Our 3G Dump Truck Software Suite takes a project, from a quote, to dispatch, to billing and driver pay, automatically. A quote can be given for freight or freight and material, tonnage, flat or hourly. Freight rates can be calculated automatically for each truck type and material can be marked up. Dispatchers can easily lookup quotes and create orders and equipment requirements. Jobs can be created from the quotes, loading in all the rates and other quote information. From each job, the original quote and dispatch orders can be viewed and outstanding paperwork reports can be generated. Each job also tracks historical information about that haul such as, average hours per load, average dollars per hour, average tons per load, amount of units billed, amount of dollars billed, total driver pay, and dollars paid from the customer.
When drivers’ tags are input into the billing system, the job information is used to calculate billing, driver pay, sales tax and fuel surcharges automatically. Any standby time can be added in the same billing screen. A typical tag should take about 15 seconds to input into the system. The billing amounts are tracked separately for freight and material and may be combined for the customers. If the driver is an owner operator, a broker fee, trailer rent, and fuel surcharge can be calculated concurrently. As a by-product of the billing, whether you pay your company drivers by the ton, hour, percentage, unit or flat, a driver settlement is generated.
